Taxi is chic and classy with its funky architectural designs and breath-taking views across the city and Yarra River. It boasts a high-quality and creative Contemporary Australian menu, with Japanese influences. Every dish is a work of art when it hits your table and tastes superb , with all components playing a crucial role on the plate. It would definately be a challenge to choose a favourite!

Poached Atlantic Salmon and Yabbies, chilled in Aspic with Caviar & Lemon Dressing (Aspic is a dish where the ingredients are set into a gelatin made from richly flavoured, clarified stock)

Tataki of Wagyu Beef with Ponzu Sauce

Filo Wrapped Quail with Cucumber Remoulade, Foie Gras & Piquant Jus

Roast Wild Barramundi Fillet with Baccala (Salt Cod) stuffed Zucchini Flower

Tempura Nori Wrapped Flathead Fillets with Pickled Carrot Salad & Japanese Tartare

We also shared a crisp Green Bean and Rocket Salad with Pickled Ginger and Tofu Dressing with our mains, and finished off with freshly brewed Chrysanthemum Tea and cute Petit Fours.

Chocolate Truffle, Passionfruit Curd, Hazelnut Biscotti, Lemon Custard with Shortbread Sticks

my favourite dish was probably the salmon and yabbie dish..the dill used in the dressing went very well with the seafood:)
