Hello there! :) I have finally motivated myself out of the blissful holiday mode that I have been guiltily lazing about in, to post about the past couple of weeks. There is a lot to catch up on, starting with a quick dinner at the newly refurbished Circa, The Prince at the Prince Hotel.
Twas a late Sunday night, which meant that instead of the usual Dinner menu, only the Bar/Lunch menu was available. I was very impressed with the food, which was presented so enticingly, with a creative combination of ingredients, tasting sensational! Thumbs up to the chic, but laid-back decor and the wall of lush herbs and plants growing so happily in their cubed compartments.

Garden Vegetables & Fromage Blanc in Cone; Smoked Eel & Creme Fraiche in Cone - smooth and creamy filling, so flavoursome and encased in a delicate, cripy cone. Delish!
Broccoli, Hazelnut, Pecorino & Chilli Linguine - I couldn't believe how light the pasta was, perfect with the earthy hazelnuts and salty pecorino.
Cooked Prawns, Dill Mayo, Cos & White Bread - A no fuss dish, where the freshness and simplicity of ingredients do the talking.
Toasted Grains, Labne, Herbs - This was my first time eating labne, which is basically dehydrated yoghurt with a consistency similar to that of sour cream. A very interesting dish, but so wonderfully addictive!
